Elven musicians whose bamboo instruments give tones so beautiful they stun any listener not used to them.
Founded: c. year 100 (Second Age), by Astralis, among Sylvanus’s Water Elves
Story
Astralis founded the Astral Chord among the Water Elves. They discovered that the special bamboo Astralis grew on Sylmara in the First Age, bent and poured just so, gives tones so beautiful they stun any listener not used to them. The instruments must be made in complete silence, and the notes were learned by watching the stars.
Now
Nothing has been heard of them since. The water elves have since been corrupted into decadence.
