Five volcanic fingers thrust up out of the sea — four fingers and a thumb, the palm beneath the waves.

Raised: c. 6,000 years before year zero (First Age), by Atlas (also called the Land of Hills).

Story

Atlas’s first work: five volcanic fingers rising out of the sea, the palm hidden below. Around 4,000 years before year zero he set the Perpetual Tempest in its bay — hurricane winds, wild storm, forever — the Right Eye of Atlas.

Now

Nothing recorded since Age I; the tempest still blows in the bay.
