God of earth and war, a “heart of conflict” that softened at the sight of life, then broke magic to keep war honest.

Agenda: war as steel on steel. He broke the crystals to take magic out of it.

Story

In the First Age Atlas shaped the land’s bones: a hand, a spear, two eyes and a fortress of stone. Watching what the Stone Talus had made and what Astralis had made, he felt his heart of conflict soften, and gave the plains the River of Life. In the Second Age he filled the world with peoples. In the Third the Hollow Knight took Glaive Port. Then he grew disgusted twice. First the occupation rotted into corruption, so he walked away from the Orcs. Then war turned into “druids and misdirection instead of steel on steel”, and he poured all his power into the Shattering. Astralis, angry that he would suppress magic, struck him in the eye (the Collapse of the Left Eye).
