The Sandborn

The orcs’ order of warriors, born in the desert for glory and war.

Founded: c. year 200 (Second Age), by Atlas, with the Orcs

Story

Atlas raised the Orcs in the Obsidian Desert — living for glory and war — with their order of warriors, the Sandborn.

The orcs went on to become masters of war beasts (c. year 300), raised armies in the desert, and founded the Orc War Camps (c. year 400). In Age III the Hollow Knight led two orc armies to take Glaive Port; the occupiers rotted there, while the orcs who stayed in the desert said that is not the way and fused the desert crystals into a great obelisk, the Final End.

Now

Nothing has been heard of them by name since their founding. The desert orcs are “good but fanatical”; their camps have no armies left.
