A small peninsula whose shores are coloured sand — “and there is a reason for it.”

Made: c. 3,000 years before year zero (First Age), by Astralis.

Story

Astralis covered the shores of a small peninsula in coloured sands, “and there is a reason for it.”

Around 1,000 years before year zero, as Astralis walked his coloured shore, strange beings came out of the sea: tentacles where the lower half of a skull should be, skin iridescent like the inside of a shell; few, and reproducing by rituals not even they fully understand. Other races call them the Trenchborn. Their order, the Echoes of the Void, senses that sound, dance and colour together can reach their ancestors, but does not yet know how.

Now

The Trenchborn’s home, left a mystery.
