Story
As Astralis walked his coloured shore, strange beings came out of the sea: tentacles where the lower half of a skull should be, skin iridescent like the inside of a shell; few, and reproducing by rituals not even they fully understand. Other races call them the Trenchborn, and they are evil. Their order, the Echoes of the Void, senses that sound, dance and colour together can reach their ancestors — whatever that means.
Now
The Trenchborn were untouched in the later Ages and remain a mystery.
