Year zero is the falling star that landed far in the west with a great roar.

Every Age begins and ends with the fall of a meteor of unknown origin (Meteors). The Third Age was an age of armies.
- First Meteor: c. 6,000 years before year zero, the start of the First Age
- Second Meteor: year zero, the start of the Second Age
- Third Meteor: c. year 650, the end of the Third Age
Year zero
The Time Keepers date all time from the Second Meteor, which blew open the First Fortress at the start of the Second Age. The Third Meteor fell c. year 650 and ended the Third Age.
Calendars
Around year 100 Astralis made the Time Keepers among the Centaurs, a women-led order. They found that by watching the sky they could align their cycles and rituals. Watching the night sky, they drew the first maps of the world and made the first calendars.
No moon
There is no moon yet, and so no tides.
Now
The campaign opens at the Bazaar c. year 650–651, a few months to a year after the third meteor.
Open: [?] the calendar itself; [?] the moon.
