Short and stout, with bearded tentacles: true mushroom-folk of Fungorn.
Created: c. year 100 (Second Age), by Astralis · born of dwarf and Trenchborn explorers · Order: Bent Eye
Story
Astralis raised them in Fungorn from the mixing of dwarf explorers and Trenchborn explorers. Their shamans, the Bent Eye, eat the mushrooms and build non-Euclidean structures no one has yet seen. The story goes that whoever sees one goes absolutely insane.
They breed by spores and are immune to the Fungal Plague. Around year 630 they raised an army: raising corpses with fungus is a travesty, and it was their forest that burned. Around year 640 they laid siege to Glaive Port. The city held, and the siege has no end (Siege of Glaive Port).
Now
They are immune to the plague and besieging Glaive Port.
