Story
Seeing humans become the dominant race, the dwarves marched with the Stone Talus and took Greenhaven as its wardens — no massacre, nothing else changed. (They had already, around year 610, declared themselves the first and best of races and walled Kharag Duun twice over.) In those same years they became master diplomats. Karros and Kassander came home from the front, found the dwarves ruling Greenhaven, and turned them to the honourable way (Astralis). But Atlas raised among those same dwarves a ruling caste, the Magisters, evil and power-hungry.
Now
Greenhaven is dwarf-ruled — purified to the honourable way by Karros and Kassander, yet governed by the Magisters. Which wins remains to be seen.
