Svirači na nitima — they play silk strings to speak and to pass on knowledge.
Founded: c. year 500 (late in the Second Age), by Astralis, with the Spider People
Story
Astralis raised the Spider People in the southern mountains: some centaur-like on a spider’s body, some humanoid with extra eyes, ranked by how truly spider they are. They click and build vast silk webs. Their order, the Threadspinners, plays silk strings to speak and to pass on knowledge.
Around year 610, in the Third Age, Astralis allied the water elves and the Spider People (Elf-Spider Alliance) — both neutral, trading sea-lore for the paths through the Misty Mountains. Some ten years later, around year 620, the Spider People helped the Grove’s druids drive Glaive Port’s armies out in the Great Battle of the Third Age.
Now
The Spider People stand allied with the water elves.
