Clicking weavers of vast silk webs.
Created: c. year 500 (Second Age), by Astralis, in the southern mountains · Order: Threadspinners
Story
Some are centaur-like on a spider’s body; some are humanoid with extra eyes. They are ranked by how truly spider they are. They click and build vast silk webs. Their order, the Threadspinners (Svirači na nitima), plays silk strings to speak and to pass on knowledge.
Around year 610 Astralis allied them with the Water Elves (Elf-Spider Alliance): a Switzerland, both neutral, trading sea-lore for the paths through the Misty Mountains. Some ten years later they helped the Water Druids drive Glaive Port’s armies out of the Grove in the Great Battle of the Third Age.
Now
They are allied with the water elves, and helped save the Grove.
