Two enormous cliffs with a gap between, and an inland sea between the peaks.
Raised: c. 1,000 years before year zero (First Age), by Atlas, in the south-west.
Story
Atlas raised two enormous cliffs with a gap between them, and the sea ran in to fill an inland sea between the two peaks.
Around year 300 Astralis opened a ley-line portal — a brief glimpse into the void, felt across the whole world — and its epicentre was near the Twins. Those within the crater’s radius simply ceased; those who watched it lived with the sickness the world named the Void Glance; those who only heard it included the humans who became the Star Chorus. The Goblins, whose mountains lie nearby, were among those caught. The epicentre was left a crater in the shape of a five-pointed star, as Star Lake is.
Now
The Void Glance crater lies near.
