After Atlas’s Shattering broke one great crystal and cracked the rest, Svarog — delighted by the chaos and annoyed not to understand it — founded a human order, the Mages’ Guild, at the Bazaar: to study magic, write it all down, and buy up crystal shards, meteor fragments and curiosities.
