Story
Elaruun is one of the islands of Sylvanus’s Sylmara Archipelago. Around 2,000 years before year zero Sylvanus’s avatar appeared here — Sylvariel the Dragon — in the same years that the Water Elves were made.
At the Coming of Magic (year zero) one of the four known Great Crystals appeared on Elaruun, behind the winds. Around year 400 Sylvanus founded Selvaruun, the City of Scholars, on the dragon’s western island. At the Shattering (c. year 630) one crystal broke and the rest — this one among them — cracked.
Now
Sylvariel is on Elaruun. Selvaruun stands; the crystal is cracked, and the cracks are spreading.
