Story
Sylvanus changed the world. In four places the Great Crystals appeared, floating in the air, and in time the races learned that they are what fuels magic. The four known crystals lie on Elaruun, on the Last Tide’s island (Nerathis), in the Frozen North near Coldspire, and at Cinderforge.
Consequences
- c. year 100 the Dwarves meld crystal magic with Star Metal. The Hands of Elyndra learn healing through the northern crystal. The Arcane Fang want every crystal for their sons.
- c. year 500 there are six, not four. Two are lost, and one of those governs Portals.
- c. year 630 the Shattering breaks one and cracks the rest.
