A vast steppe from the interior to the sea — perfect for riding.

Made: c. 4,000 years before year zero (First Age), by Atlas, with its hills.

Story

Atlas stretched a vast steppe from the interior of the continent to the sea, and raised hills beside it, reaching toward Sky Spear. Some thousand years later, c. 3,000 years before year zero, the Stone Talus stood up between those hills and the mountains.

In the first years after year zero Atlas made the Centaurs here — neutral nomads, with a small evil order of priests, the Purebred, who hold that the union of beast and man makes them superior to every other race. Around year 100 Astralis made among them the Time Keepers, who watched the sky and drew the first maps and calendars; around year 200 the centaurs beat the Centaur Roads across the world. Around year 300 Sylvanus purified them: the centaurs are now good.
