The human city of the Great Plains, which built a ballista too big to aim and was then broken by a meteor’s quake and mudslides.

Story
Astralis founded Heart of the Plains, the human city, on the Great Plains. Around year 600, Karros and Kassander raised an army here.
Around year 620 the city raised the Ballista Tower — too big to aim, with a range of half the continent (Astralis) — and the harpies founded Divine Strike to spot for it from the air. Around year 630 Karros and Kassander led the armies of Heart of the Plains and Greenhaven against the water elves on their land; it ended even and became the War Zone.
The Age ended with the third meteor (Svarog): it struck the mountain slopes beside the Ballista’s city and tore the glaciers off the highest peaks on the continent. The earthquake and mudslides broke the city, buried armies, made another swamp and a crater-lake, and cracked the Ballista.
Now
The city is broken by quake and mudslides; the Ballista Tower is cracked and out of action.
